Miyota Japanese quartz 6 hand chronograph with date and a 9-hour crown and pusher placement.
DIAL
The dial is surrounded by a concave dial ring and includes bold printed indices, a printed seconds track, CD textured subdials and custom molded hands.
CASE
51 mm, 300 meter/30 ATM custom solid stainless steel, solid stainless steel or handmade acetate unidirectional rotating bezel with countdown timer, hardened mineral crystal, screw down crown and pushers, stainless steel screw down caseback and screw pin lugs.
BAND
25 mm custom solid stainless steel or handmade acetate 3-link bracelet with stainless steel double locking clasp with micro adjust.

The Nixon 51-30 Chrono is technically not 100% waterproof. But that doesn't mean it can't be worn in the water! It has a water resistance rating of 300 meters / 30 ATM, meaning it is pressure tested to 300 meters.
The key features of the 51-30 Chrono include a 51mm custom solid stainless steel case with a 9 o'clock crown and pushers, a unidirectional rotating bezel for an analog countdown timer, and a Miyota Japanese quartz 6-hand chronograph movement with date and timer functions. It also features a hardened mineral crystal, 300 meters of water resistance, and a stainless steel construction making it dive-ready.
The 51-30 Chrono is constructed from solid stainless steel for the case and band, and features a hardened mineral watch crystal.
The crown on the Nixon 51-30 Chrono is located at the 9 o'clock position to prevent wrist bite when worn on the left hand, providing greater comfort during active use. This design choice allows the watch to be worn without the crown digging into the wrist, which is great if you're getting your hands dirty.
The 51-30 Chrono uses an updated Miyota 0S20 Japanese quartz 6-hand chronograph movement. The main ways to care for it are to replace the battery when the watch stops ticking and to keep it clean!
